My Operating Principles
I have worked with and for many people in the healing arts. My experiences have led me to create Operating Principles. If you have found your way here, I thank you. I want you to know these principles. They represent my passion and my commitment to excellence.
I have put these principles out in the world as a resonant field. Thank you for reading!
- Principle One: I am authentic. I want you to know that I try to be myself and don't put on the face of "healer," "master teacher," or "guru." I am grounded and flawed; I make mistakes and when I do, I take responsibility and make a repair as soon as I can.
- Principle Two: My work has a spiritual foundation but it does not draw from any religion. You will not find any dogma in my presentations or classes, but will find references to spirituality and possibility.
- Principle Three: I do not take others for granted, nor to borrow or take anyone's materials or ideas without their permission. I do not violate copyright laws and give credit where credit is due.
- Principle Four: I work hard. I meet many gifted people in the world. My gifts are very simple, my hands know their work. But my tenacity and commitment are strong and deep. My hard work as led to my success. And it has been so fun!
- Principle Five: If I have upset someone or crossed a boundary I should not have crossed, I make amends. If I have ruptured a relationship, I make repair and change the damaging behavior.
- Principle Six: I continually work on myself. I get regular supervision from master instructors in my field of practice, and keep all my licenses and memberships up to date. I take many hours of continuing education and seek to make myself a better person today than who I was yesterday.
- Principle Seven: I am generous. I offer free sessions when needed to mothers and suffering babies, and I give of my time and attention to others who want to learn.
- Principle Eight: I work to bring excellence to everything I do. If I have fall short of that, or forgotten something, it is not on purpose but because of something in my life that is keeping me from the best performance I can give.
- Principle Nine: My marriage and children are very important to me, and so I schedule my work and classes so that I can spend time with them.
- Principle Ten: I practice what I preach. I feel I am in balance. I do my very best to be ethical and fair.
