Free Talk – The “I” that is “We”
Is it time for western psychology to embrace that realm of Self that is Collective?
In this talk we’ll look at clear evidence for the neuro-biological networks for bliss, and ecstatic unity-consciousness.
This paradigm-busting presentation seeks to disrupt the trance of separate-state individualism.
I’ll be citing examples of intertwined dysfunction, re-defining dysfunction as relational rather than individual.
By implication, healing must be communal, not just individual.
In conclusion, I’ll be arguing that psychotherapy and social activism should be one.
This talk is for therapists, counsellors, and social activists longing for societal transition to a new paradigm of partnership-mode civilization.
In this talk we’ll look at clear evidence for the neuro-biological networks for bliss, and ecstatic unity-consciousness.
- What is the link between bliss, and the direct experience of interconnectedness?
- What if our perceptual trap inside separate-state consciousness is at the root of all trauma?
- To what degree are shame and fear shared, rather than personal?
- And what are the implications for psychotherapy, public health policy, and social activism?
- How was our birthright: the natural design for bliss-capacity and interconnectedness-awareness, lost to us?
- What are the key formative experiences of childhood and adolescent development that open our awareness of our essential, blissful interconnectedness?
- What are the cultural/societal wounds that block us from living this experience?

We all want to Belong, to feel Heard and Seen, to know that someone is there.

We are holding a space for you to come, be with us, Kristin Sipley, Eileen Sendrey and Kate White to be a part of a community of people passionate about our beginning, our preconception, conception, prenatal, birth and after birth times. We kindle a fire, of connection, passion, and love for the work we are trained to do, so we are calling this pace The Hearth. |
