More About Kate: My journey started with craniosacral therapy and bodywork in 1995. Since 1999, I have worked steadily to understand early trauma, attachment, growing your body and nervous system, autonomic states, the mother-baby relationship, and how to repattern your nervous system, your perspective, your life if you have an overwhelming history. I have studied with many advanced practitioners and completed many courses and certifications. I am thoroughly trained by many instructors, including Myrna Martin as her coordinator, student and apprentice for 10 years, and since 2013, supervision and mentoring from her instructor, Ray Castellino and John Chitty, an advanced craniosacral instructor and author of Dancing with Yin and Yang. I feel very fortunate to have the attention of advanced practitioners and tutors from the BEBA clinic, Building and Enhancing Bonding and Attachment and have a mentoring relationship with their staff. I have also completed the full Somatic Experiencing training (a 3 year program of 216 professional hours plus required supervision). My passion has led me to be appointed Founding Director of Education at the Association for Prenatal and Perinatal Psychology and Health where I have successfully built and now help run an international program: The Prenatal and Perinatal Educator Certificate Program.
